The Confession, starring Katie Leclerc is based on a Beverly Lewis novel. The Film was made in North Carolina and Directed by Michael Landon Jr. who also recently directed The Ultimate Life here in NC. The Confession, adapted for the film by Michael Landon Jr. and Brian Bird, follows the continuing story of Katie Lapp who is a young Amish woman who goes on a journey in search of her identity. She becomes involved in a mystery when she tries to find her mother who gave her up for adoption 20 years before. She discovers that her mother is the owner of a large estate and she learns that her mother’s greedy husband is trying to steal the estate.  The Confession was filmed in the Winston-Salem area and also stars Bill Oberst Jr., Adrian Paul, Cameron Deane Stewart and Sherry Stringfield.
