Eastbound & Down’s consulting producer and director David Gordon Green who has stated that he originally wanted to be a fireman, is on a quite different and busy path. Green who Cites John Boorman’s Deliverance as one of his all-time favorite movies, which he took in at the tender age of ten, is not sitting at the station waiting for the bell to ring.  He was between his film Prince Avalanche and post production on “Joe” with Nicolas Cage, when he jumped into preproduction work on the fourth season of HBO’s Eastbound and Down which begins shooting in Wilmywood in May.
